DAVIDA HAS UNVEILED the Koura, its first ever full-face crash helmet.

The Koura is a retro inspired, high performance helmet, with a low and slender profile and a strikingly bold styling.

The Koura will be available in early 2018 in both road and race versions. Davida’s first full-face helmet is a result of the enhancement of its technical team with the very best expertise of Italian MotoGP and F1 racing helmet designers who delivered the smallest-profile road-legal Davida Speedster V3 in 2016.

Davida MD, David Fiddaman said: “Introducing a full-face helmet marks a new era for us. The Davida Koura delivers everything you’d demand from a high-performance motorcycle helmet together with the level of quality and integrity Davida helmets is known for – compact and close fitting, exceptional ergonomics, high quality paintwork, supremely luxurious interiors and unrivalled fit and product longevity. It’s beautiful, yet aggressive.”

The Koura has been made to the highest possible spec and features an advanced GPR composite shell designed to give optimal weight-balanced ergonomic performance.

There are six chin air vents to ventilate the 3mm thick F1 performance visor which has anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings. There are additional cheek pad inserts for closer optimal customised fitting and a removable, washable, fast drying, anti-bacterial fabric liner or an after-market leather liner kits in five colours. It will be available in 20 colour schemes and six helmet sizes from XS (54) to XXL (61) and retails at £435.
