Caliper kits won’t break the bank

One of the irritating things about working on some 1970s motorcycles is the way you have to buy lots of tiny parts individually.

When I rebuilt the front brake caliper on my XS650 I had to buy each seal, bit by bit.

Given that working brakes are quite an important part of motorcycle ownership, and that all the various now ancient rubbery bits rot at around the same rate, and the brake nipples are made out of tofu, this is a bit of a pain, as while you have the thing apart you might as well replace everything, right?
