THE BSA GOLD STAR has been part of motorcycling folklore for 80 years and at this April’s Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show the Goldie will take centre stage in the Restoration Theatre.
Expert hints and tips on all things related to restoration and maintenance will be on offer once again at Stafford, and this time the Restoration Theatre will be run by the Gold Star Owners’ Club. The group’s technical officer John Luke will offer invaluable advice applicable to a variety of marques and models during nine sessions over the weekend, during which he will rebuild a mid-1950s BSA Gold Star DB32.
BSA’s stunning super-sports single never fails to turn heads and inspire owners and onlookers – as the electric Goldie we featured a couple of months ago so beautifully demonstrated. You can be sure the 20 examples on display on the Gold Star Owners’ Club stand in the main hall will inevitably attract a crowd.
