HEREFORDSHIRE RIDE WITH POINTS TO PROVE

by

FANCY A RIDE-OUT with a purpose? The VMCC Herefordshire and Mid Wales Section usually holds its Herefordshire on the Edge event each summer, but this year has replaced it with The Herefordshire Compass Ride, a one-day navigational challenge for individual riders and small, socially distanced, groups.

The ride is open to riders on two or three-wheeled machines which must be more than 25 years old.

The opportunity to complete the ride runs until Sunday August 30, and the full distance should be covered in one day.

Entrants must design and follow their own route by selecting from a list of 20 points located all over Herefordshire and visiting the four points of the compass within the county boundaries.

A day’s ride through Herefordshire? What could be better?

There is no entry fee, but entrants may wish to seek sponsorship for for the section’s preferred section charity, St Michael’s Hospice, www.justgiving.com/smhospice
