SHOWING OFF: the private entries in the main hall are, for many visitors, the event’s must-see feature.
Owners dedicate months and years to reviving old bikes, very often bringing them back from the brink of disintegration, and present them at Stafford for inspection by the public and judges.
The April event concentrates on British machines and all the major marques are very well represented – but look out some interesting Italian and Japanese exotica also.
All compete across a wide range of classes, with prizes awarded at 4pm on Sunday.
