THERE’S ANOTHER REVITALISED classic name arriving in motorcycle dealers. Benelli have launched their retro-styled Leoncino 500 Twin and are expected to release their Royal Enfield Bullet rivalling Imperiale 400cc single by the end of the year.
The 500 is said to be a reimagining of one of the Pesaro firm’s most beloved motorcycles, the 1950s 125cc Leoncino. A steel trellis frame houses an all new twin-cylinder four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 500cc engine made by Benelli. The Leoncino costs around £5,200 on the road in the UK.
The 400cc Imperiale, an OHC single with late 1950s lines is expected at the end of the year. www.benelli.com
